Klipperscreen missing macros
Anyone know why Klipperscreen would be missing a significant number of macros that I would see in mainsail? Specifically, things "Load Filament" and "Unload Filament" are not visible in Klipperscreen macros list. Even going to the settings there to see what is visible and what is not visisble, they (Load/Unload Filament) are not choices, as well as a significant number of other macros are not showing up there no the options in Klipperscreen macros. I would suspect it's somethign easy that Im not understanding properly, but kind of lost rigth now. Guidance would be appreciated.

Ive been reading the Klipperscreen docs and can't for the life of me figure out why they are not showing up. Thanks for the input though, seems like maybe it isn't as simple I was thinking.
in the web ui, there is a choice of how to display the macros:
Expert, or Simple
That's in mainsail, but maybe that setting could affect what shows up in the klipperscreen interface?
I've only used the webui, don't have anything specific to offer for klipperscreen. The docs make it sound like as long as the macro is called out in printer.cfg that it'll show up
Yeah, it seems like it should, but no go. It may be treating Load and Unload Filament specially I suppose, as there is a specific place there there is Load and Unload buttons, but the implementation will not work w./ the RatRig setup because it takes an extra parameter
though if the name of it is preceded by an underscore, or have the attribute
rename_existing seems like it'll be hiddenhmm. I'll take a look at that path too. It seems like Klipperscreen does not work well in IDEX setups. thx again for the tips 🙂
Just get a cheap tablet and point it at the webui? XD
