no connection web and app after couple of hours
After installation Immich in proxmox with Proxmox VE helper script (LXC) eeverything is looking well. No errors during installation, app working, web working. Uploaded all the pcture of the iphone 1600. A couple of hours later no contact anymore with browser (error 500) and no contact with app. I have Installed everthing new and the result is the same. It works well for some hours and after that unable to connect.
Has any one an Idea (be carefull i'm a first time proxmox and Immich user)

Information
In order to be able to effectively help you, we need you to provide clear information to show what the problem is. The exact details needed vary per case, but here is a list of things to consider:
- Your docker-compose.yml and .env files.
- Logs from all the containers and their status (see above).
- All the troubleshooting steps you've tried so far.
- Any recent changes you've made to Immich or your system.
- Details about your system (both software/OS and hardware).
- Details about your storage (filesystems, type of disks, output of commands like fdisk -l
and df -h
).
- The version of the Immich server, mobile app, and other relevant pieces.
- Any other information that you think might be relevant.
Please paste files and logs with proper code formatting, and especially avoid blurry screenshots.
Without the right information we can't work out what the problem is. Help us help you ;)
If this ticket can be closed you can use the /close
command, and re-open it later if needed. You probably will get better support if you follow the official supported installation method i.e docker-compose
We don’t know much about the script
However, it could be your networking as well
Make sure to check if the server is still reachable
Logs from the server would be helpful
Try to get a steep learning process and found this as log.
That's Kernel logging that's (at least) one layer too deep for anything Immich cares about :P
But as Alex said we don't maintain and support that script. We only support Docker installs
ping on the address is OK and Summery is looking OK running using dynamical CPU, Mem , Network and Disk
So will that be docker in VM or in Lxc ? and where would i be able to find a good instruction/script ??
To be clear with "server" Alex didn't mean your server but the immich-server process
Docker in LXC is not supported by proxmox
Docker in a VM would be the proper way
And then you could simply use https://immich.app/docs/install/docker-compose
Thanks Guys, I will give it a try. But Docker will give me an other new thing. I can program mainframes in machinecode, and assambler for a serie of processors and micro processors. But with 74 years geting up in all the new stuff is kind of a challange.
Haha yeah that is fair!
The LXC logs are in
/var/log/immich
@JohannesI have been looking for that (see screenshot) but it doesn't excist. This might be a proxmox version 9 thing because the usual syslog doesn't excist also

He Daniel, Thas not fair, live is getting difficult with the years, and I'm still pretty good.
You need to check inside the LXC, not on proxmox
Found the immich log hope that it gives a clue
seems to work fine
nothing outstanding
what is the IP address of the LXC container that is running Immich?
192.168.1.247
I think I will kill this install and will do the docker in vm install and see if this will do the job. But it would be nice to know why a working installation just blocks all access only after a couple of hours. I found it a nice challange.
so navigate to 192.168.1.247:2283 doesn't show you anything?
can you open the developer console (F12) and go to the console tab to see if there is any error?
when I navigate to 192.168.1.247:2283 it gives a very vage " 192.168.1.247 refused to connect."
the console give a long list of errors
🤔
those error aren't familiar at all
