Perfume layering
hey guys, so I’ve never really tried perfume layering before and I’m wondering if there is any guidelines or general like advice you would follow for layering. I’ve found so far that I really like putting Clean Rain which is a straight patchouli sent over Whispers in the Library by Margiela, which is a vanilla amber-y scent and I like mixing some of my spicery scents over more fruity ones, but I guess the problem I’m having is I still can’t quite tell what does and doesn’t mix just based off the notes, is it just a matter of trying stuff out and seeing what works?
