Tell me a story

TIL at Goatmire Elixir from 🐐 ‘Tell me a story’ Spoiler alert: You need to know this but you also should see/hear in person so don’t read on if you will see/hear Sasa Juric’s ‘Tell me a story soon’ My short take is that PR’s need to be humane, or they should be humanely euthanised. Make PR’s small and easily digestible. Break a large PR into smaller coherent pieces. In a PR organise yourself so you are telling a story in acts. Explore on a different branch, and plan and/or squash commits so you are bringing your maintainers on a memorable short journey which has a worthwhile destination. In short I need to expend more effort making my PR’s better which makes our code better. After all it is a community, we benefit from having our fixes/features in mainstream, and the cost of a better PR is one off, but the benefit is forever. https://github.com/sasa1977/hamlet

You don't get the Varberg Theatre experience with Hamlet dressups but still very good.
