Audio playback (output) is being played through the mic channel (as well as voice). KDE Bazzite

Single 4 pole jack, headphones previously working fine, connected to rear front audio (green port) on desktop motherboard. after a fresh install and restoring some backed up files, the user is having an issue where if they are playing any sound on the desktop it is being heard through the mic channel - i.e if they are on discord or steam chat.

Any help appreciated.
