Btrfs Compression Issues

So after some checking around, my home folder isn't being compressed automatically. Running the defrag command on a folder with

-czstd -L 1

-czstd -L 1

does show that the data is compressible by Btrfs. Would like to know if i am doing something wrong or if it's expected behavior.
