Open task manager then close all riot games/valorant tasks then run it as admin
I don't have any of those and I already tried to run as administrator. I also tried with windows defender off.
Can you send a screenshot of the error?

I already contacted support. They are not very helpful. Kept asking me to uninstall but the thing is that I cannot even install in the first place.
Did you let them know you can’t install the riot client?
Are you using a VPN?
Yes, I said I cannot even install. Yet they tell me to uninstall valorant and vanguard and whatever 🤦
No VPN. I also tried using my phone's mobile data.
I also tried turning off router firewall

Oh, I cannot install league of legends too. Same issue.
Other games non riot are fine, like steam games
Installing valorant on my ps5 is fine too
I have no clue tbh
Maybe Saucy or Rachel have some ideas you haven't tried yet

Press windows key
Search “msconfig”
And open “System Configuration”
Head to “Services” tab
Check “Hide all Microsoft services”
And then “Disable all”
Open “Task Manager”
Then head to “Startup Apps”
And disable all
Then enable all riot related
Then restart your pc
Then try to open game
I managed to get it working by following the riot support. I had to do some things similar to what you mentioned. Thank you
