Postgres auth failed

Hello I had an immich server running v1.133.0 (which wasn't able to upgrade - installed it using snap, not the issue here). I have a complete backup of the /common folder. I removed the broken immich server (that couldn't be upgraded), then installed a fresh one (1.138.,x / 1.140.x), stopped all the services/daemons. Restored the entire /common folder. When restarting the whole server, everything goes up, except Immich.server which fails on a postfres user "auth_failed". So it seems the restored /common folder has a (set of) password, and the fresh app a different one. I have access to psql, I was able to alter the password for postgres, but no success when trying to restart the services. I am not running immich in docker. I have (found) no .conf or .env or .json files in the common folder. How can I recover/find the missing password to get it running ? Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you very much. Best

I don’t understand your setup but you need to have a docker compose and a .env file If you set the Postgres password in the database you also need to set it in the env

I used nap to install (previous version), and eith new fresh install. I don't recall any docker being used with snap. I didn't find a .env file.

We don't support snap installs. The officially recommended method is via docker.

Ok. I have my set of data, and database, how can I migrate it / import it in a docker fresh install and recover my pictures/albums/faces/... ?
