Hello. I was pretty happy with z13 2025 Bazzite updates with tablet functionalities, but it seems hooking my device to a TV has broken it somewhat.
I hooked my device to the tv with an HDMI cable. I was holding it horizontally meanwhile. I noticed that TV couldn't process the image so I changed my resolution from 2560x1440 to 1920x1080. This worked and I was able to see the image on TV.
The problems came later. I was done with the TV and removed the HDMI cable. I noticed my resolution was stuck in 2560x1600. I wanted to adjust that back 2560x1440. Upon making this change, screen glitched to a point where I had a purple-hued flashbang go off in my face. Severe glitching made it impossible to use the PC. Thankfully it passed after 30 seconds as I wasn't able to verify the change.
I can also still use the PC on 2560x1600, but my auto-rotate option is gone. Funnily enough, even though option is gone from the task bar it still does auto-rotate when it wants to. Not reliably, though.
Running a game and changing the resolution back to 2560x1440 does not break the screen, however.
So, how to fix this?
UPDATE 1: So it turns out, hooking your device up to a monitor configuration it previously recognised simply reverts whatever it was that went wrong. Yes, that simple. Got a monitor for your funni gaming tablet thing? Did you adjust it to dualscreen with your device? Then I guess you are good.
No idea if this works for Ally X or something. Might be worth a shot.
UPDATE 2: Nope, didn't work. Same thing happens again. Oh well
