(TRUENAS Scale) Inconsistent media location after migration [app ver 1.133.1 to 1.142.1]
Hi Alll,
I recently attempted to update Immich from version 1.133.1 to 1.142.1 on TrueNAS. As part of the migration, I created a new dataset and used a separate, new instance of Immich to avoid affecting my existing installation. I followed both the online guides and the official documentation carefully, including rsyncing the data into a duplicate dataset and ensuring permissions matched the originals.
After starting the new instance, I keep encountering the following error:
Detected an inconsistent media location
It seems to be preventing the app from fully starting. My suspicion is that it may be related to copying files from an earlier version into the newer version, possibly leaving the database “behind” or mismatched with the media path. However, I could be misunderstanding the cause.
I’d greatly appreciate guidance on how to properly migrate my dataset to the latest version without encountering this media location inconsistency.
Thanks in advance!

TLDR: In truenas Rsynced all of ver 1.133.1 files (excluding pg) to /data dataset and rsynced the db to /db. Made a new immich instance (ver 1.142.1) and linked it to the two new datasets. keeps throwing error of inconsistent media at me. works if i dont try to rsync old database to new. any help or points are greatly appreeciated

Hi @Sergey Katsubo I was able to get the inconsistent error to stop and was able to successfully run it, thanks! Unfortunately, now none of the photos have any access. Here's the first couple errors that pop up.
I tried to map these paths it says its not finding, but it still isn't resolving... I think something is the matter with the db since its still pointing odd. Any tips?
