Is there anything in PUBG Mobile that actually gives you and advantage over other people, like more damage or harder to see? Weapons, clothing or other?

That is not true. Neither any of the weapon finishes nor the outfits provide any damage buff in PUBG MOBILE. All of these are designed to be visually appealing and to allow players to customize their appearance, not to provide any in-game advantage.
