Projects Limit | Multiple, Separate Databases for One Project | SOC 2 Compliance

I'm currently developing on this SaaS platform where some of our enterprise-level and even government subscribers will require independent databases that are completely independent and separate from one another for security reasons. While there will be a "main database" for the primary bulk of our users, there will be some that will require/demand this higher level of security. My guest would be to add new "projects" for this (or at least that's what ChatGPT said when I asked it), but I'm wondering if there's another way to go about it within Neon so that a single project can contain multiple, completely separate databases since Neon is SOC 2 compliant. And if I recall, that is a requirement of it (but I could be wrong on that so please don't quote me). If the only way to go about it is to programmatically create multiple projects within our Neon account, is there a way to work with the Neon sales/development team to remove the 1000 projects limit? I don't foresee us hitting that anytime soon since this feature won't be used by that many companies (that we expect), but we'd still feel better not having to worry about having such a bottleneck over our heads. Any help is appreciated! Thank you! πŸ™‚

Hey! A project per tenant is the idiomatic way to accomplish what you're after. The 1000 project limit is a soft-cap we have to stop people from accidentally running a script that spins up 100 000 projects, you can talk to support and they can lift it for you when you need it!

That's awesome! Thank you for letting me know! I'll be sure to pass this along to my team. πŸ™‚
