Heroes Chronicles and HoMM III HotA not starting
Having read about a similar problem experienced by Michael_P_Giffin with some older games, I would like to ask for help with the Heroes of Might and Magic III game family. Until recently, I was able to launch subsequent campaigns from the Heroes Chronicles series without any issues, but when I reached the last one, Part 8 (Sword of the Frost), I installed it and couldn’t get it to start. The installation seemed to go smoothly, but when I try to launch it, nothing happens and nothing appears. The same issue occurs with Horn of the Abyss – I can open the start window in HD mode (mod settings), but the game itself does not launch either. I would be grateful for help in solving this problem. Below I am sending the logs from my attempts to launch both HotA and Sword of the Frost.
