If the game is on Steam, you can look it up on ProtonDB for Linux support via Proton. This isn’t a guaranteed answer, but it can suggest the likelihood of it working under Crossover on Mac

so it can work with crossover but not if i use the Game-Porting-Toolkit-latest
also is cross over a one time payment
I can buy it on steam check if it works, if not i can download Crossover and play it there with my steam account correct

no idea if it works or not with GPTK, GPTK doesn't like Steam though, so if this is a steam game it won't work with GPTK
crossover has different payment options, you have a 1-year license or a lifetime license
there's also a free 14-days trial that you could use to check if the game works
you can probably buy the game on steam, use the free trial of crossover to see if it works, and if it doesn't you can ask for a refund on steam
