Extreme storage consumption on iOS

Hello, is there anything known about storage consumption on iOS? A friend of mine is currently using v1.143.0 or .1 and her iPhone showed that Immich was using around 60 GB of storage. However all her media in Immich is only like 23 GB. She had this after the account was created and after she did an initial sync on her iPhone to the server for the first time. Saldy I can't attach a debug log or further information.

Lots of stuff in ICloud perhaps?

Hm yeah that was what I thought too but in iCloud it was the same amount of photos. The initial sync finished. So 23 GB synced from iCloud to Immich basically

I'd reinstall the app personally but maybe @shenlong-tanwen has some debugging info they want? :3

Try the Clear File Cache button in Settings -> Sync Status and see if that helps. Tap the button, wait for few seconds, close the app and check if the size has reduced. The next release should have much better storage management where we clean each temporary file after they are uploaded
