No community in Asia yet...???
Hi to all of you in Asia...I cannot believe there is no local community in the largest continent yet! I am looking for likeminded people in Asia, (ideally Singapore) who are concerned about AI development as I am. I would be keen to create a local community to communicate regularly and take action. A bit of background: I am of German decent but live in Singapore for the past 15+ years now. I have a 8 year old son and am really concerned about his future outlook in view of the extential risks AI poses to human mankind. I am also surprised how little attention my friends and family devote to this sea change we are seeing. Everyone just seems to go on with their lives. It's like the infamous frog sitting in a pot of boiling water, not realizing what is happening until it's too late. Drop me a line if you feel the same way!
