if i put the r in the denominator as R-r ill have my answer, but that would mean that i hve written torque eqn about O. Im writing the torque eqn about IAOR but thats not working . Why?

Like its obvious😠it says the disc can only move along perphery of the ring withoht slipping which obv means u displace it slightly from bottom hence it will perform SHM abt O
