usually the best way to end those types of bounties is with a doc page that shows users how to do it
then you know that users can be helped/linked to how to do it
you'll also usually find any issues

not sure what you mean but yea the checklist is more or less just a guideline
the goal of every bounty is to make sure the feature works for users (at least minimally)
