Production (public app) freezes in build - Repeats question about $20/mo upgrade

Hi all, i do not have insight into billing or payment methods. A new build shows no messages in terminal for a few minutes at a time and it continually returns to the question y/n about whether I want to upgrade for an additional $20/mo. I thought this was just a generic error last night (restarting the process), but it dawned on me that perhaps the payment method is declining. Can anyone help clarify this? There are 0 errors in local terminals - the build just returns to the y/n question(s) every few minutes until someone cancels the build attempt. I am hoping it is payment related, but want to get ahead of this in case it's not. Specifically, my question is what can cause a build to return to the y/n questions (if not billing/declined card), without errors on local terminals?

Sure, no problem - I think we have ruled out a billing problem. We do see some errors now about the shopify toml & settings - I'm thinking that some past testing on production within a custom app install could be interfering now with the public app production. Diff code entirely from when we did that, but that's my current theory for the issue. I'm going to try forking the project but first I'll try resetting the prod env a bit to match with dev settings. devops@electricenjin.com The errors specifically came up before ggt deploy asks us to confirm billing, which is why it was confusing because the build never "failed", it just looped back to the billing question each time I'll update as soon as i have some more info, I know they're working on it still looking for more info

We were able to resolve this. It appears to have been a discrepancy between shopify toml, dev vs production setup, in tandem with the actual Shopify app settings. This was not a gadget-specific issue, but the errors for missing or misconfigured toml were confusing to us at first. You can mark this as resolved/complete, I think this was very specific to our setup & not a platform issue. We would just recommend that any generated or analyzed settings for Shopify's TOML have more info, if possible in the future so it's more clear why a toml is rejected or throwing errors. Ah - nevermind, I see the changelog. It appears that there are specific updates for that. Awesome šŸ™‚
