The Ente Photos desktop app does not support NAS (network drives) and may have a subpar experience due to flaky file system emulation. It is recommended to temporarily copy the files to local storage for upload. See more details at https://help.ente.io/photos/troubleshooting/nas#network-drives.
Alternatively, you can try using Ente's CLI to pull data into your NAS, as detailed at https://github.com/ente-io/ente/tree/main/cli#readme.
