why is this happening?
my friend keeps seeing this message when he tried to join my server alot of people said its from essential mod but its not? is there any fix?

i dont have any experience with crashes and shit like that
are the mods the exact same on both the server and the client?

your server has mods, does the player have the exact same mods, same versions of those same mods

im using essential
so it uses every mod i have in it

a screenshot on your mods folder should suffice

most are client sided
i ment on the server

tbh it wouldnt surprise me if theres compatibility issues between your 80 mods and essentials trying to host the server
i checked every mod
uhhh, has the other player actually tried to join you or did they just see the tab list error?

i can get into the server but he cant
how did you get your friend to install the modpack?
like what was your method
i got 2 methods
1 was me giving him the mods names and he downloads them manually
2 was him making a new modpack and i zipped the mods and sent it to him
he extracts them and puts them in his mods folder
for the modpack hes using was method 1
well thats a massive waste of time
cus its quite easy for them to miss something

i think i accidentally updated a mod yes

all mods on both clients have to be the same version
so i should tell him to update the mods?
just send him your mods folder

tell them to delete the contents of their mod folder before they extract the new one in
