Problems with running Minecraft through Prism Launcher
I switched over to Bazzite recently as i just couldn't take windows anymore. Everything has been going great, except for minecraft. for whatever reason when i play certain mod packs my computer freezes and the only thing i can do to play again is to power cycle my pc. i'm happy to provide more details if that will help solve my problem. Thank you in advance.

which modpacks are causing issues?
ive noticed it mostly from curseforge modpacks

is there any difference between Fabric, Forge, etc.? Or do all of them crash
I don’t think I’ve noticed any difference between mod loaders but can try some things
This issue happens to me as well, although with or without mods. Its more noticeable if I connect to a Realms server. I tried checking the MC logs but found absolutely nothing. Although it actually recovers and resumes as if nothing had happened.
So I tried checking the system logs and found that some sort of KDE service crashes while running Minecraft. Unsure if this is the culprit but I can't disable it for whatever reason, so kinda stuck in the same situation.
I can provide some video footage if needed.
i was able to disable it in system settings under keyboard and then the vitural keyboard menu and selecting none, hope that helps, not sure if this will resolve the issue though
I am running large forge modpack from prism and it hasnt crashed once so I think its a modpack issue
btw Im running Gnome so maybe its KDE
It resets back to Maliit for whatever reason.
Maybe, I know its not mod related since it locks up without any mods.

Sometimes it does, I wonder if its a similar issue to another issue I had.
