What inspired these cos shoes?
so I came across these hiking shoes from cos (https://www.cos.com/en-gb/men/accessories/shoes/boots/product/leather-hiking-shoes-black-1288360001) and they look nice but I was wondering does any other brand do them or inspired cos sort of like how these sneakers (https://www.cos.com/en-gb/men/accessories/shoes/sneakers/product/minimal-suede-trainers-black-1264537001) were inspired from the dries van noten and GATS. I mainly like the leather and fuzzy top

these vintage hiker style shoes are everywhere right now
inspired by "european" hiking boots from like the 1970s-80s iirc
you can get similar looks from a ton of fashion brands as well as many hiking boot brands like fracap or paraboot

if youre interested in the fracaps i would just shoot them an email
the sense i get is that they will do any model you want, so like if you send a photo of that one and specify which of their leathers you want, im sure theres a decent chance they'll do it
