Memory consumption for external libs processing goes wild

So not sure what info is needed, but I have a K8s cluster (not using helmcharts, regular deployment yamls and fluxcd for automation) and doesn't matter if I se 1 or N cpus for the server and machine-learning containers, the memory goes wild and eventually k8s just kills the pod (immich server).
This also happened to me before using regular docker compose. I had to increase the memory to like 24GBs in order for immich to finish processing my external lib.
I have ~2TBs of libraries so maybe thats an issue?
