[Unraid] Restoring Immich container after flash drive failure
Hey all, my unraid flash drive failed recently, and my backups weren't working for much too long (check your backups folks!!), so I basically had to start from scratch.
Restoring existing dockers installed via community apps was straight forward: using the "add container" button and selecting the existing templates brought them back without issue.
However, I'm not sure how to restore my Immich containers. I use the docker-compose method of installing Immich, and when I tried to "compose up" again, the Immich container didn't seem to have my previous configuration/files available to it. Is there a way I can go back to my existing Immich installation?

If this ticket can be closed you can use the /close
command, and re-open it later if needed. If your drive failed and you don't have backups then your existing installation is gone no? Not sure what you expect there
the drive that has the photos and immich db's, etc. is still present, the flash drive that hosts the docker configuration is the one that failed
Then your deployment isn't pointed at the right paths
I was able to restore my last backup using the documented steps (https://docs.immich.app/administration/backup-and-restore/) and this post: https://discord.com/channels/979116623879368755/1287835819473764393
