Downloading stuck at 100% on Android

So, I have an issue, where: 1. I press download button 2. The progress goes to 100% and stuck in "Downloading" 3. I can see files in DCIM/Immich folder successfully downloaded and I can view them with other gallery app no problem. 4. Immich still does not see that the file is already downloaded and does not change the cloud icon to a cloud with a checkmark, neither does it show local file in the Troubleshooting menu. Restarting the app doesn't fix it either.

We don’t hash assets unless the album is selected for backups and without hashing, we do not know if the asset is the same as the one on the server. i.e, You need to select the Immich album in the backups page for them to show the merged indicator

Oh, interesting. I did just that, so now after I downloaded the original it would show two pictures, one with crossed cloud and one with empty cloud and status is still "Downloading", but if I restart the app - it will show a cloud with a checkmark! And until restart it seems "Local sync job" is stuck Should I share the log from the app?

I’m AFK to confirm if we do a local sync after downloads, but that is something that we should do. I’ll mark this thread and check it once i’m back home 😄 I don’t think logs are necessary, Thanks!

Not a problem! Thanks for sharing 🙂 We do sync and hash after download, Can you try downloading a new asset, wait for few seconds and see if the app picks them up and show them with the checked icon?
