Something about my outfits feels off and i don’t know what it is, im pretty new to fashion so I can’t tell

- Reference pictures
- Budget in numbers
- Specific measurements
- Openness to buying secondhand and/or online
- Location: country/continent is fine
- Timing/urgency
I think this is like, solid, fine. My criticisms would be that there's not a ton of visual interest going on between everything, normal clothes worn normally, no punchy color combos or interesting fits or silhouettes or anything. Also, pants a little slim for common taste around here.
what joan said, i think maybe somthing could be done with where the tee ends, ie either more cropped to sit above the end of the jacket or longer to hang out below. first thing that came to mind was this fit from chris, theres lots going on here but the shirt under having a fun hem i think adds a lot
Good advice, and yeah i agree my clothes are boring, im slowly buying more and more interesting pieces

Are slim silhouettes a bad thing? I used to wear lazy baggy clothes before and idk if it looks only weird because im not used to slim or is that really what makes my fit look off

I avoid calling it bad but it's definitely safe to say that slim fit clothes are pretty off trend right now. IMO if you want to go slim fit you really need to lean into it and do something interesting with the fit (chris does a good job with this in the pic oman posted). The fit of the clothes in your pic are pretty middle of the road slim, doesn't lean into it hard enough to really own it. A lot of clothes are sold this way these days, have to go looking for things that are more straight fitting if that's your thing.
So its a go big or go home sort of thing? I will look into accessories and from there ill see what i can do about it

yeah I think "go big or go home" is not the only way, if you are attached to slim fit look for ways to play into it in a cool way, inspo from places that carrion listed.
and I mean really, taking a step back and just looking for inspo of like "okay well what do I want to dress like" might be good. might find that straight fit or wide fit feels more at home.

Ok cool, knowing your goals is waaay more helpful for us to make recs.
Keep collecting inspo and looking at it to figure out what you like from each fit.
Just my opinions but:
- the pants in ur OP are fine but they don't really do anything interesting with the boots.
- your tee ends where a tee kinda traditionally would end, and its just a regular crewneck, so it doesn't really look intentional.
- id swap out the bag for smth leather or generally more interesting
- u have no jewelry
- jacket is just kinda ehh but that might just be the photo
I will take your advice, get a new bag, jewelry and jacket(s), ur right its kind of boring except for the “scarstitch” and double zip but thats it
I will see what i can do about my pant-shoe interaction, maybe get something more flared idk yet
jacket isnt bad imo its just hard to pick out any details w this shot
