Iris won't install

hello, I am very late to the iris fad and I seem to have an issue installing it. I'm not sure if it's my computer or something else. My java is installed (I even reinstalled it just incase) and I downloaded the iris launcher from the website, however when I am on the actual launcher, trying to download it my .minecraft folder I click the install button and nothing happens. It won't let me download it to anywhere on my PC. I am still on windows 10, not sure if that makes a difference. I am used to only using optifine and wish to have my shaders back...
