Manually Assign a (Canine) Face

First off, loving the software. It's been great for finding and grouping people and my dog. However, I've got two dogs. I'm trying to understand how to manually assign a face or if it's even possible. The pup in the foreground is one of my dogs and she's being recognized... ok-ish. The second dog - even when she's in a photo alone, I've got no possible matches. So I says to myself, "Self, just manually tell the system that this is <Pup #2 Name>." But I can't find if this is possible. Google Photos does a good job of this and the feature parity between Immich and G-Photos is pretty good. Is there something I'm missing and is there a way to tell the ML (or whatever component) to search for human + animal faces? (I work with a dog park and having the ability to classify specific animals would be very helpful). Thanks all, --K

You can manually tag but not manually add people currently

Can you ELI5 the difference between tag/add?

Tag is, the face has already been detected and is avaialbe in the person list, you can manually tag that face in a photo. Add (Which you can't yet) is that the face hasn't been detected at all in the person list

Thanks for the clarification. Is there an existing FR I can upvote?

Sure haha I'm just saying that ideally you don't even need to manually tag anything

That would be sweet, but I'm happy to tag images with people/pets manually if needed for the time being.
