Shaders Glitching and Spreading Look
Whenever I try to use shaders, depending on the shaders I'm using, I get different glitches. This example is with Bliss shaders where whenever I move my camera, it sort of spreads the image of the environment around my screen, it is completely normal without shaders.

Are you using DH? If so try changing the transparency

I haven't used minecraft in a while could you list the options please
for distant horizons?
Yeah

Hmm I really don't remember anything. Lemme see if I can find the command in the dh server rq
sure take your time
Here it is This is a Bliss issue, there are 5 known potential fixes:
- Turn shaders off and back on (repeat after each next fix)
- Set transparency to complete in DH settings
- Decrease or increase the DH RD by 2 - 8 chunks
- Restart the game after applying all the previous fixes
- Change the shader to different one
I don't know where the transparency setting is rn but you could try either world generator or lod building
my transparency was already on complete and i have tried the rest of the fixes which didnt work, i noticed that on complementary shaders there is a big glitchy shadow, but when i turn off DH then both shaders work completely fine

the lighting looks odd even before moving my camera

this is the same without DH on

and this is after reloading the shaders (with DH on)
Do your iris and dh versions comply with this:
How to use Iris with Distant Horizons
A few members of our community have made a small modpack focused on Iris and Distant Horizons if you would like to check it out: https://modrinth.com/modpack/distant-horizons-iris-shaders
They also made an installer so you can install it on the vanilla launcher (no third-party launchers required!): https://github.com/UltimatePlayer97/iris-distant-horizons-installer
Otherwise, to get Iris and Distant Horizons working in Minecraft, you must install a mod loader. Iris and Distant Horizons support Fabric and NeoForge. Once you have one of these mod loaders installed, put the following files in the mods folder inside your .minecraft client directory:
Sodium: https://modrinth.com/mod/sodium/versions
Iris: https://modrinth.com/mod/iris/versions
Distant Horizons: https://modrinth.com/mod/distanthorizons/versions
Here is a list of shaderpacks that support Distant Horizons: https://gist.github.com/Steveplays28/52db568f297ded527da56dbe6deeec0e
Other shaderpacks that do not have explicit support for Distant Horizons will not work; LOD chunks will not render.
Version compatibility info:
- Iris 1.7.0-1.7.4 supports Distant Horizons 2.1.2-a
- Iris 1.7.5 and newer supports Distant Horizons 2.2.0-a and newer
- You must use Distant Horizons 2.1.2-a on Minecraft 1.20.4 and 1.20.6, as they do not have Iris versions supporting later Distant Horizons versions
- You cannot use Iris with Distant Horizons on Minecraft 1.20.2 or versions older than 1.20.1, as they are unsupported

i believe this is right
my iris is 1.8.12 and my DH is 2.3.3
i'll try messing around a little with the versions anyway
yeah changing the version either gave me errors like this:

or didn't fix the problem
okay, i fixed the problem by changing the version of every mod i had to one version older, thank you for your help
Maybe submit a bug report with the versions of iris and dh specified, this may be a shader issue but worth submitting one anyways
I have the same issue, but without DH on is there a solution?
Have you changed your transparency to complete?
do you have ReShade cause ReShade causes some issues
No, I'll try that though.
And, if it helps I am using Photon Shaders
Oh, and I am using a modpack, I can send all the mods in it if you need.
