Failure to install flatpaks when installing OS
Getting this error, used Ventoy to do USB setup

seems like your iso is corrupted. while using ventoy is mostly fine, you can try fedora media writer instead.
but before doing that, you have to redownload the exact iso you've picked from bazzite website, and then you need to verify it's checksums
here's a video to how to do so: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wUDbMJtR1sM

How to calculate your Bazzite ISO SHA256 checksum hash
In this video we are going to look at how to calculate the hash of your Bazzite ISO installer file. This is important as a broken ISO file can lead to the Bazzite installer failing or even worse, Bazzite installing but then failing to start up

Do you have a link to this fedora media writer install
https://github.com/FedoraQt/MediaWriter/releases/latest
as for linux, just download it from flathub
Tried it again getting same message
as I said, you have to redownload iso once more, don't reuse the corrupted one
Given that the bootloader on the USB installer offers an option to test the media before installing, that would also be a good idea (after redownloading and reimaging the USB stick)
nope, testing the media from bootloader is broken
if it's there doesn't necessary meant that it works, it wasn't added by bazzite and it can't be removed
