How to get rid of giant mouse on left side if screen

I can't get rid of this mouse on the upper left corner of my screen. The only way it goes away is by changing from full screen to windowed. I am running gnome and on desktop since I'm using a egpu.

For my own personal notes, use scope buddy, figure out how to change steam launch options. I SOLVED IT thanks again @⚧ Xenia Meraki ☭ @Parmethyst It was an issue with the screen resolution on desktop mode, the games dont automatically fit to screen resolution so you have to use scope buddy and manually put the launch options into the game. Now to figure out how to make it a global setting. Man it sucks games either dont have automatic resolution or that Bazzite desktop doesnt automatically configure the games to match the monitor resolution.

You would always have to add launch options to any game you want to have the setting, but scopebuddy at least makes it to where what you have to add is fairly minimal.

true, man i hate how you have to tinker with so much in linux its also kinda nice though

But also, the problem you had with this game should be fairly unique to this game.

coming from windows its a lot more freeing eh i count like 5 games i have had this issue with

The vast majority of games should set their resolution to your monitor resolution either automatically or by at least being set in game option.

the issue was partially solved new issue is all games are stuck on steam deck setting they arent actually using desktop settings

Games may set their steamdeck settings when they detect Steam Game Mode being used I suppose. Since they expect that Steam Game Mode comes hand in hand with Steamdeck.

Steamdeck=0 in Steam launch settings to try and avoid Steamdeck defaults. (This all is partially why I say you should only use Steam Game Mode/Scopebuddy/Gamescope when it's absolutely necessary.) (Not for all games but just for particularly troublesome ones) You can note that you could use Gamescope universally by using Steam Game Mode and rebasing to a Bazzite image that uses it by default. It's a big picture-like mode that launches gamescope by default.

all the games need it sadly i had to put game scope on each game to run it at the resolution of the monitor i tried steam deck=0 to no affect I appreciate the help, hopefully bazzite makes a patch that allows it to go with the resolution of the pc.

Might be an egpu problem, or your specific monitor resolution. Egpus are def not reeeeeally supported, by practically any OS really.
