Integration Home Assistant with Mastra?
Does anyone know if there is better way to integrate Home Assistant's Voice Assistant with Mastra better than building Mastra MCP server and connecting HA with it?
Most probably some deeper knowledge regarding HA will be needed here but that's the only way I found out to have it working…
Do we have any Home Assistant users here?
Basically my motivation here is that I bought some time ago a few devices Home Assistant Voice Preview Edition and wanted to have more freedom and power how these voice assistants should work.
I'm not that experieced users either in HA and Mastra but seeing here great opportunity. It would be great if there would be possibility to add any local network Mastra Agent as a Voice Assistant in HA.

Hey @Michał Świtoń ! As Guria mentioned, I close the GH issue because our bot created one although it's not really one. I do think it's an interesting topic however, but I do not have any inputs as I have no idea of how Home Assistant works.
If they are MCP compatible then that's probably the easiest way to integrate with Mastra. If you can build custom UIs, then you could interact with your Mastra server API too. I just don;t know what can be done in Home Assistant
Ok, that's fine. One question, though. Do you know if zod schemas we specify for agents, workflows etc - are they anyhow received by LLM using MCP? In my case it looks like Agent from HA don't pass required params to the tools. In mastra playground with the same model I don't have these issues.
