the default behaviour for this guage appears to use “ground wind direction” from derived data ..
however this calculation/path is noted in the derived data plugin as “deprecated”.
I manually changed the paths accordingly, to use “ground wind direction angle & speed” paths (from derived data)
… this came about when i was recently “told” that i was using a “deprecated” path/output from derived data…
i unticked it.. and then it took me a but to work out what was going on.
anyway .. all good… but maybe either GWD default behaviour changes? or there is a new guage type? that defaults accordingly to the “correct” paths (not deprecated) from derived data ..
