randomly today my sso with github is now requesting 2fa...is it the 2fa for supabase or github?

Supabase does not monitor here regularly.
Is this for the Supabase dashboard or your app?

Then try a different browser, then device, then VPN. There is an odd state issue that manifests in all sorts of ways for logging in. Eventually the original browser works.

absolutely...I've been signed in for months and i log in routinely with sso from github...never had a 2fa auth prompt directly into supa
Did you try the other steps yet?
That is a type of issue I have seen caused by the random state thing.
yep I tried everything, different browser, vpn, different machine at different location
Then you are waiting for another user who has ideas or should generate a support request.
I made a support request...just wasn't trying to play the waiting game, I just screwed myself with this one...
Maybe in your title say dashboard 2fa.

I scanned through this.. I did in the last hour up my computing size and enable PITR...not sure if any of these intertwine
Does seem odd it happened right after, but if you finished the process you are thru the main issue of the projects getting stopped and started.
I'm not finding any other reports online or any useful discussions here or github.
