valorant crashing my nvidia drivers
my valorant just keeps perma crashing my nvidia drivers, this happens randomly ingame and i cant figure out what causes it. it doesnt show me an error message (i had critical error crashes before and now it changed and doesnt display a message anymore) i had version 581.08 of nvidia driver installed for the past 6 months and it never caused me any issues up until a couple days ago where i started crashing only in valorant. i updated my driver to the latest version (581.42) yet i still have the crashes. if anyone else is experiencing it or has found a fix please let me know

crashes your nvidia drivers how?
steps of the crash happening incase it helps:
-i play normally
-game freezes completely but i can still hear some audio
-a couple secs go by then both my monitors go black (signaling nvidia driver crashing)
-game is frozen, i can alt tab now, theres a blank error box with nothing written in it
-i end all valorant tasks
after your monitors go black, does it stay black or does it auto comes back
im not sure how to explain it well but whenever my drivers crash its always the same thing, black screen for a couple secs, monitors disconnect then reconnect (signaled by the system sound), discord and other apps using my mic show me a notification that a new sound device called nvidia was added, my nvidia broadcast completely crashes aswell
it comes back after a couple secs when i hear the monitors reconnect

i cant rly record what happens bcs my recording software crashes too (nvidia shadowplay) and outplayed which records ingame only for me

the fix now made it so that I cant see the loading screen

just cause new prob shows up doesnt mean I broke it for you

ok in that case you can clean reinstall the nvidia drivers using DDU
i dont think so bcs i dont have any intel component afaik

open then select

and then click on clean and restart

i had very slight lines that u could only see when u focus, now the lines spread more wide and are extremely visible

Also how many minutes into the game did it usually crash?
honestly its random its sometimes fine for like 2 swifts and sometimes crashing in my first swift game
ill play 5 swifts to test, if its fine then then ig it should be fine in general
ok try the game for now, maybe queue deathmatches just in case
