manifold is cool, jscad/modeling is also cool. jscad/modeling is more portable with our build system because it doesn't have WASM, jscad/modeling is also 250KB vs 500KB for manifold (not encoded), probably 1MB encoded
manifold is probably 10x faster. But for libraries like circuit-json-to-gltf, it's easier to have something that's easy to bundle.
So IMO jscad/modeling is the first tool we reach for, then we optimize with manifold later. The 3d-viewer is good with manifold, good use case. But for converters it's a bit heavy.
