Sudden High Ping & Routing Issues on Illinois Server

Hey everyone, I’m hoping to get some help with what seems to be a routing issue. About a month and a half ago, my ping to Valorant servers changed drastically. I’m located in London, KY, and Illinois used to be my best server with a stable 27–30ms ping. Virginia sat around the high 30s–40s, and the worst servers were usually 60–70ms. Now, Illinois has jumped to the high 50s, while Virginia is suddenly my “best” option at 40–50ms. All other servers are now 70+. The problem is most of my friends play on Illinois, and with my ping there doubling out of nowhere, it’s making the game rough. Some extra details: • ISP: Spectrum (Charter Communications) • Plan: 2 Gbps down / 1 Gbps up (Coax), wired via Ethernet • This started right around the time Spectrum was rolling out upgrades in my area. • Using ExitLag lowers Illinois back down to the 20s, but introduces packet loss instead. • Two of my friends are experiencing the exact same issue, which makes me think it’s a routing problem. • Riot and Spectrum keep pointing fingers at each other, and so far nothing they’ve done has fixed it. If anyone has insight, or if a riot dev can take a deeper look at routing for Illinois connections from my area, I’d be super grateful. I’ve seen in this forum some help others with it and I’m praying I could be fortunate enough. This has cause the worst headache trying to get it lined out. @Kenji-San I seen some help you’ve been providing. Praying you could look into it if possible.
