is there a way to run it on windows 8 compability mode?
idk when it started but when i play a game on fullscreen, even sometimes in windowed mode my screen, my home screen flickers on mouse click, i found a reddit threat that said that compatibility mode fixes it (it did for me in other games) https://imgur.com/IfrBqrg

but its basically the same
just looking for a way to put the tmodloader in compatibility mode
Not sure why you'd want to do that and I don't recommend it, but here is how:
* Go to
steamapps\common\tModLoader\dotnet
* Right click dotnet.exe
* Properties
* Compatibility tab
* Check "Run this program in compatibility mode for:"oh i see thanks
had a similar problem with slime rancer but it got fixed with compatibility mode
