Resolved : Lily58 - Firmware issues - MacOS

Hi ! I’m having a problem with my Lily58: it’s impossible to transfer the firmware, whether I’m on macOS or Windows, and even after trying two different cables. I received all the parts in no-solder as requested, followed the documentation step by step, and even built, disassembled, and rebuilt the board a few times. For now, I made a simpler setup just to troubleshoot the issue (you can see it in the photos). The Pro Micros and connectors are in the right place. Image On the left side, everything seems fine. When I press the button once or twice, the bootloader starts properly and I can try flashing it. But the transfer always ends with an error, even though my macOS version is correct. The right side, though, is much more unstable. Sometimes it doesn’t go into bootloader mode at all, other times it does after 20–30 tries. Even when it works, the firmware transfer still fails. I then tried again on Windows. The left side flashed perfectly with no error, but the right side still behaves strangely — orange LED only, then sometimes connects after many tries. When it finally flashes, everything looks fine, but once reassembled and powered on, the keyboard isn’t detected. When plugged via USB, it shows up over Bluetooth, but only 2–3 keys actually work. I’m really not sure if this is a firmware or hardware issue. I’d be super grateful if you could help me figure it out — I’m also totally fine jumping on a short Discord or Zoom call if that helps.

I have to manually use the USB to see the Lily58, in order to connect to it. And I only connect the left part But, even before or after connecting it, the only keys working are : - Left : "c" - right : "]", "h", "l" and "backspace" So, in a way, it means the firmware miraculously "worked". But the rest of the keys doesn't work and the keyboard only works with usb since the Bluetooth doesn't appears... I'm thinking it is really the hardware which causes problems What do you think @TyperAI ? Problem resolved !! All thanks to the amazing Typeractive support, especially @Jack (they don’t work on weekends, which is 101% understandable) The issue was that I was using sockets meant for solder hotswap, while I had actually purchased sockets for no-solder hotswap... So... as you can imagine and understand, I'm the dumb dumb one at fault All I needed to do was take a bit more time to carefully check the different components in the box In the end, it was completely my mistake, I tried to go too fast and didn’t take enough time to step back Thank you so much, Typeractive !! my Lily58 is now working perfectly!
