BTRFS: error (device sda3)
Installed Bazzite, only Strangers of Paradise, ProtonUp Qt and Vesktop installed
After a while of playing it froze and I got this
Hardware is a Nvidia RTX 4070 and Ryzen 3 2200G and 16GB RAM, SDD is a Sandisk Ultra 3D, used Proton 9 from Steam Compatibility to play
Now the question is, is there anything I can do to resolve this? Out of my league here and want to first try and resolve this before I just buy new hardware

When you get errors like that with btrfs (if it is stuck with this at boot) i do not recommend running a repair as it can make things worse. i would backup the content and remake the disk partition.
probably some corruption that happened from the freeze (or possibly losing power) during a write operation, this can happen on almost any filesystem sadly.
you can also run a smart check on the disk to see if there are any registered hardware faults on it.
This could be it because it froze during a saving operation in game
Also thankfully i could still boot it, so i already did backup and everything just incase. Probably better to do a smart check then and see, i didn't have much on it yet anyway so its not a critical loss. Will see if this problem comes up again
you can also try run a
btrfs scrub but if it finds any errors they are not worth repairing as i said, since that can make it worse, but if both smart data and btrfs scrub comes back clean then you can just go on with your day
if you need a gui then btrfs-assistant can run a scrub for you
you will just have to find out which filesystem uuid is on sda3 (you can find this with the disks program)Alright will do, thanks a ton for the help here this had me completely stumped
we'll see if anything comes up and i either close this or report back
