Distant Horizon stops loading chunks
Since I didnt found any information regarding the speed of DH loading chunks and my number is INCREDIBLE high, I just want to ask if that is a normal time for Distant Horizon to load these chunks. 
My best guess would be yes but I want to be sure. Also, if there are any config options to make this faster/letting DH first load chunks around me, I'll appreciate help/information/tipps for this. 🙂

Also: If Distant Horzion should focus on chunks around me, even when the numbers increases I dont see new Chunks around me appearing.

It's a big modpack (Medieval Minecraft on 1.20.1)

World generation in general is quite slow and world gen mods can slow it down even more. If you want to speed it up:
Install Noisium, Lithium and C2ME. These mods can improve generation speed by a bit, but it will still not be fast.
Increase 
To see if
CPU Load in Distant Horizons settings for faster generation, but you will experience more lag spikes and stuttering due to heavier workload on CPU. You are not required to wait for the full generation to finish, although it is better for fps if you do.
To see if
Distant Generator is really working or not:
1) Check CPU usage while in-game, using Aggressive settings of CPU Load. If CPU usage's hovering around 80-100%, the LoDs are generating in the background.
2) Go to DH settings > Advanced Options > Debug > Wireframe, set Enable Debug Wireframe Rendering and Show World Gen Queue to True.
Enabling both settings will show you the visualization of world gen tasks queued and working on the map (blue boxes for queued tasks, red boxes for working tasks)So I guess its normal, haha. 
But another question: The numbers go down but no new Chunks are being rendered around me. Is that normal?

Otherwise you can install c2me if you have Sinytra Connector installed.
And structure layout optimizer is also a good mod
C2ME is for fabric or neoforge only, this modpack runs on normal forge. Dont know if neoforge is compatible with normal ones?
Thats why I said to install Sinytra Connector
It makes some fabric mods work on forge, c2me being one of them.
Though a lot of forge modpacks use it already, so you might already have it installed

But the other problem: It seems to generate Chunks away from me insted of directly next to me. While the number on the chunks left decreases I dont see any new chunks being rendered in the distance. Is that normal and will they appear later?

@Skillnoob_ Hey, if you are still awake, i found something that sounds like me something goes wrong - I just restarted the modpack so it has all ram available and I can go to sleep and then this massage pops up in the Coinsole

Absolutely not. D: I have two errors in the console overnight and my Idea is, one of these seems to be the case. And I think its the "arrays will need to be recreated" seems the one that breaks it.
And this - I can remove Tidal and see if that fixes it. But I dont think that fixes it.

Well removing Tidal didnt do anything. 
I guess its really that Phantom Array.
I'm now testing DH on a smaller world.

Well its the Tidal mod that gave another error. I removed Tidal. Endless Rendering still persist.
So I have let minecraft do its think for about an hour - The same problem is existent on another world (a much smaller one) and the only warning exist with the Phantom array
How can I export the log so you can look over it? Maybe it's something different I cant seem to find
Also: The ETA randomly stops and then INCREASES in Time.

My guess is something stops the chunk loader randomly
It would be absolutely cool if you can have a look over it (I try to find the mod that does the memory leaks search thingy) but other than that... Im clueless.
So, I removed the "No memory leak detected!" thingy and it seems to be the cause of the ETA increasing but here is the thing: IT was just a symptom. Distant Horizons stops working after a short period of time. It doesnt increase/decrease the ETA now but it also doesnt decrease the chunk numbers. It's also not showing new chunks around me. It has some loaded. 
Since the console still only gives me one error - The Phantom array thingy - I dont know how to fix it. So if anyone has any ideas I would be happy. If not then I guess I let it cook and see if anytime it fixes from itself OR I just have to remove the mod (And I would cry if I have to)
I just got to sleep in Minecraft and then the timer jumped. Holy moly.

So, im now sure that eventually Distant Horizon stoppes generating/loading completely. 
After some time I can restart the process and it just shows "DH is loading chunks." and never actually starts generating any new chunks. 
Bummer. 🙁

I pasted a log above - If you have time and are willing to look through it I woud really appreciate but I believe that it's a lost cause. 🙁
you could try running just DH, at the minimum itll make your logs more readable
If this helps I would try to make a new Instance for a minecraft version and just run DH. I'll try that.

I just find some interesting things I could activate that it states in the console what it does - I will activate this on the modpack and then I hope we can identify the issue
doing a !binary search might be necessary
Try a binary search and figure out which mod is causing it.
So disable half of the mods, see if issue is still there, if yes disable half again etc etc until you find the mod that's causing the issue.
Well, then I will not be fixing this issue. But just find out, since you can enable Console Logging for Distant horizons, and we can see that it really freezes.
These are the last chunks. Im now testing if this is just that chunk. 
Restarting game, and let DH start.

Is it possible to force DH to stop and restart?

I dont want to add or remove any mods because I want to have one complete playthrough of it - Removing or adding mods obv. would destroy the world and by over 300 mods its... Well not possible for me.

nor why enabling DH console logging would be helpful here
it seems like its possibly a mod compatability issue. in that case you wont have much of a choice
Alright, then I'm really sad because then I will remove Distant Horizon. Man I wanted to have this enabled. It's so crazy beautiful.

Oh wait, is it possible to stop the generation event and start it again ingame?
you can stop generation by disabling it on the server or on the client
in DH's settings
Okay, next stop on this chunk. After this one nothjing happenes anymore. I can stop it but I cant resume it. 
How do I find out, what coordinates these are? Is it even possible to find out what chunk it is?

im guessing you can just do 260*16 and 144*16 to get the coords

And sadly its a mod that is necessary for this modpack

I'm removing the mod I think it is. It seems to be Whisperwood, why I have no clue because it actually doesnt add any Blocks. The other one that I found 1 of 3 times at the exact chunk was the Pixies from Ice and Fire.
But 3/3 times there where Whisperwood creatures in the chunk
Removed Whisperwood and now starting the game again.
And waiting for it to stop generating
Okay, removing Whisperwood didnt fixed the issue. Im now testing if it is possible to generate without the pixie villages from Ice and Fire.
Okay, its the pixies - If Distant Horizons find a place for the pixies, it errors when trying to creating them and then it seems it stops after trying to load it without the placement of the pixies.
Sadly there is no way Ice and Fire can be removed in this modpack.

Can you maybe disable pixies in the config?
Sadly no, since there are already generated in ALOT of chunks. you can stop them from generating (even tho I dont believe that even worked) but completely removing them from existence is not possible.
Seems like alex's mods have a habit of breaking stuff in dh lol

Well that was fixable with a config change (it even stated that when I installed Distant Horizon). That was an easy fix but sadly Ice and Fire seems broken. 
Either it is fixed with an update to the modpack itself from LunaPixel (if that modpack is even getting updates, im not sure) or someone from Distant Horizon will check what is happening there OR Ice and Fire checks their code. 
But sadly none of that is in my hands - So it is a GG for me/us. :'D*
