Keyboard Input Latency while Gaming

Hello All, Thought I would share a few findings. I have been dealing with input latency on a few of my games while playing on Bazzite. Issue doesn't occur in Windows. Maybe others have some additional feedback. Specs: Mini PC with Ryzen 255 w/ Radeon 780M 24 Gb RAM Bazzite Stable (F42.20251011) Firm 1.07 / GNOME 48 / Wayland / Linux 6.16.4-115.bazzite.fc42.x86_64 Kechron K3 max keyboard (mainly using 2.4gz adapter wireless) A bit more detail on the specific issue: I was having keyboard latency (specifically WASD character movement delay that resulted in walking/strafing farther than intended in lets say moderate GPU heavy games (Stationeers and Foundry) and wasn't seeing it as much in less GPU heavy games or games were it might not be as noticeable such as camera panning in city building games. It seemed to be keyboard keys specifically, not much mouse latency. Tried various graphics adjustments that didnt' address the issue, and tried keyboard in wired and wireless mode with the same issue. When the game is closed keyboard latency isn't an issue, but when game is playing if I alt-tab I can see some of the keyboard delay in other programs. Tried various proton versions and it didn't seem to matter. I found this thread which clued me in to try some keyboard settings, since I can't really do to much with polling rates with my Keychron mouse/keyboard in Bazzite. https://rimworld.gallery/m/linux_gaming@lemmy.world/t/8877/help-solved-Getting-input-lag-on-Bazzite/comment/84070 I tried disabling the "Repeat Keys" option in Accessibility Settings and that seems to have addressed the issue. No more delayed release issues in my games for now. Now I just have to decide if I want to switch this frequently or live with not holding backspace on my typing errors out of game or set something to disable this when a game launches :) I will also try messing with the speed and delay options and update on some findings.
