No games launching on Steam Deck
I downloaded the flatpak, made a gog account and bought a couple games. When I launch them ( GE-Proton-latest), it infinitely is stuck saying launching with no screens popping up (in both desktop and game mode).
When I add the games to steam through Heroic, the Steam logo will at least pop up to show it's loading the game but nothing will happen, even after leaving it for hours.
The kicker is if I add the game to steam manually as a nonsteam game it works right away(same Proton build), so the games themselves aren't having an issue. It's something to do with Heroic.
What is going on here?

Solution
Disabling umu is not a good idea in the long run. Your log mentions network issues, so ideally try to get a stable connection and re-enable umu
