Android App: Albums show 0 photos when “All photos access” is granted
When using the Immich Android app (Android 16), I’m having an issue with photo backup detection.
If I grant “All photos access” permission, the app shows 0 photos in all albums, so no pictures can be selected for backup.
However, if I choose “Limited access” and manually select photos, those selected images do appear in the backup list.
The problem is that the limited access mode only allows selecting photos one by one, which makes it impractical — especially for new photos added later.
Expected behavior:
When granting “All photos access,” the app should detect all albums and display the corresponding photos for backup.
Actual behavior:
With “All photos access,” the app detects no photos (0 in each album). With “Limited access,” it works but only for manually selected items.
