Close Chunks Don't Render In Time. See Through Map.
Chunks that have already previously been rendered will be see through in the area right past the player render distance. Happens with shaders and without. playing on fabric 1.21.9 server. Both server and client have distant horizons installed. really unpleasant to look at. answer may be in the problem FAQ fix but I wasn't able to fix after testing. Any Idea?

someone else just posted about this and it was answered so i will test the things in that reply first and see if it helps
If vanilla chunks dont load fast enough, then you have performance issues with the server itself - not DH
- editing overdraw prevention helps slightly but only by hiding it better i still see through the ground just closer to the player now
- installed C2ME, the other options aren't available in 1.21.9 yet.
- what does it mean if my CPU usage stays pretty low? when i fly to an area that is having that issue, my usage stays very low with i paid for the whole CPU setting on
is there something I can change with the server to fix this?
it's a self hosted server on the same computer
Depends entirely on what the bottleneck is. I'm on mobile rn, so can't really type out a full guide on performance troubleshooting - but it gives you something to investigate at least

for anyone else reading the server has 8GB allocated to it. my client has either 6 or 8GB allocated. it's probably something to do with my CPU not being maxed out i see a lot talking about maxed out but what about if it's not being used up when it should
