When setting up your own server, if you encounter a "something went wrong" error during sign-up, there are a few things you can try.
First, when creating the first user, the Ente Photos web app will be accessible on
http://localhost:3000. Select Don't have an account? to create a new user and follow the prompts to sign up. Enter the verification code to complete registration, which can be found in the server logs using sudo docker compose logs; more details are available at https://help.ente.io/self-hosting/installation/post-install#step-1-creating-first-user.
If you are still facing issues, ensure that you have correctly configured the web application by following the steps at https://help.ente.io/self-hosting/installation/manual#step-3-configure-web-application.
