blocks in lod turning brown due to buttons

Hey! im building a floating island and decided to use buttons to spawnproof the inside of it but due to that the blocks in lods are turning brown (as shown in the pictures i sent). is there some setting that can fix this or do i need to change the way im building it somehow? ive tried adding more blocks between the one you see on the outside and the butto nbut it doesn thelp too much
