Are my Saint Laurent Wyatt Harness Boots legit?
I got these Saint Laurent Wyatt harness boots late 2020, second hand, but I never really tried to figure out if they were real or not.
Any comments or questions would be greatly appreciated

Hi @DVNO! For better answers, include:
- Reference pictures
- Budget in numbers
- Specific measurements
- Openness to buying secondhand and/or online
- Location: country/continent is fine
- Timing/urgency
What's throwing me off is that looking at reference pics of real Wyatt boots, I notice the sticker barcodes. The font just looks off, and thin
leather looks like shit
looks like doc martens type leather
so if they're fake or not they suck
yeah i think the leather usually ages much better on real boots
yeah i noticed that like ur talking about the peel/smudge look right?'
also I rarely wore these boots since I bought them
talking about this

do you have photos of the sole stamp and insole stamps?
the size stamp photo is also not very clear
all bulgy and gross here too

I do but i got them vibram soled
and it got daamaged in the bottom
oh man these already belong to you huh,
misread your post and thought you were looking to buy
like I said I dont know wyatt boots in particular, so I dont know the tells or anything, but these dont look like luxury boots

nah im just beginning to notice some flaws with it thats why
lmao the listing on ysl.com is a rendering i think
wyatt harness boots in smooth leather | Saint Laurent | YSL US
Discover the wyatt harness boots in smooth leather from the Saint Laurent online store.
yeah
i pray for you that someone more knowledgeable than me can come say theyre legit
font on the made in italy looks kinda goofy

I think the letters should be a bit blockier
hold on i have more photos of the letters on the inside of the boots

i see what u mean
zipper text looks wack
i'm leaning towards fake with the odd text and bad leather 🙁
heres a clearer picture for tyhe zipper

oh the photo compression might have messed with it
i assume the paris isn't messed up irl like in those photos
still weirded out by the other stuff
yeah sorry my bad
yeah me too
its the leather that has that peeled look in the harness area is whats making me concerned
i mean to be fair I yhavent cleaned or done anything with the leather over the past 4-5 years and they have gotten damaged by water anda few scuffs while wearing
Thanks anyway, very insightful
where did u buy them / how much for that has u thinking fake?
I bought them on grailed for 450
I bought them like a long time ago 2020
sounds fine to me tbh
These r shoes thatve been made forever so I’d imagine manufacturing and leather quality changes over the seasons
is that so? i didnt know that
I remember the guy I bought it off saying he got them 2018 and looking at other pics of Wyatt Harness boots they look more greased up and natural? while mine looks more polished and glossy but still soft when touching
they could’ve just used a hi shine leather (which has a plasticized coating to give a more polished look) on this iteration idk
wyatt’s are made in a bunch of diff leathers so it’s certainly possible
yeah I figured, also idk if im just looking deep into it but there is a tyle of leather called box calf leather and the sticker on the box says "boxer nero"
