Need Help — RunPod + ComfyUI (Slow Download Speed)
Hey everyone
I’m running into an issue with RunPod and could use some advice.
I’m using ComfyUI with a Persistent Storage (Data center: EUR-NO-1) to save my workflows and files.
Since my pod is linked to that storage, it’s also located in the EUR-NO-1 datacenter.
The problem: When I download large files (LoRAs, VAEs, etc.) directly from the Jupyter terminal, the speed is extremely slow — usually 5–10 MB/s, sometimes 40+ minutes for 15 GB.
It used to be much faster before I started using the persistent storage.
What I’m trying to figure out:

What I’m trying to figure out:
- Is the slow speed caused by the EUR-NO-1 datacenter (maybe too far from the file host like Civitai, which is probably US-based)?
- And most importantly, how can I make downloads faster? Should I change the datacenter or use a different method?
